Back in November last year, I announced the “nev-o-lution” - a grand vision to double down on producing high quality content, and expanding my range of digital creations. This includes releasing stuff like videos, music, writing, and more software.

Today, I want to introduce a proper structure around big projects that I’m working on, a home for projects that require a wide range of skills across different areas of Nevulo.

Introducing Nevulo Studios

Nevulo Studios represents the home for all projects under different, bespoke areas, like content delivery & video creation, game development, animation, art, and even more. This is ultimately an organisational change to help sort services I’m working on, plan around them effectively, and how they interact.

Not everything I’m working on will live under “Nevulo Studios”. Generally, this is reserved for services I’m working on that demand high-quality planning & delivery from more than one “team” (like software, architecture, and digital art all coming together). If it’s a big project involving significant work in different areas, you’ll know it was produced by Nevulo Studios.

Don’t worry, no major changes with Nevulo

Nothing is changing for you, and you’ll barely notice anything around Nevulo Studios when you’re looking at anything Nevulo-related. This is definitely a more internal change, to help with organisation and ensuring high-quality task tracking/planning.

So, why do we need “Nevulo Studios”?

More than assisting with internal planning, Nevulo Studios represents a home for larger projects or services that aren’t as heavily tied to “Nevulo” specifically. Whether it’s a game, a bot, an involved video - these all represent places where Nevulo Studios steps in and holds ownership of the project, rather than being tied to “Nevulo” directly.

It’s a bold move, and given my vision for creating highly inter-connected services across a wide variety of areas, I think it’s necessary, and an exciting step to formalise operations to continue producing awesome experiences for people.
